All EliteSteel products are covered by a 20-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects.

Glass

EliteSteel provides a 10-year limited warranty on insulated glass from the date of delivery, guaranteeing it to be free from defect. Within the initial 2 years of ownership, if any glass failure occurs due to a defect in the glazing, EliteSteel will cover the full cost of replacement and installation. After this initial 2 year period, EliteSteel will replace the glass without charge.

Finish

EliteSteel Architectural warrants its painted or powder coated products for a period of 5 years, with a focus on addressing sheen, weathering or fading issues. To ensure the warranty remains valid, homeowners must adhere to EliteSteel’s specified maintenance recommendations.

Warranty Exclusions

  1. Any issues or damage resulting from the use of incompatible or non-approved accessories, such as hardware or sealants, that are not recommended or supplied by EliteSteel.
  2. Damage caused by improper storage, installation, handling, misuse or improper maintenance of the doors and windows.
  3. Minor changes in appearance due to exposure to extreme weather conditions or environmental factors.
  4. Damage resulting from accidents, vandalism, or acts of nature, such as fire, flood, or earthquake.
  5. Modifications or alterations made to the doors and windows by parties other than EliteSteel or an authorized representative.
  6. Damage caused by improper cleaning agents or techniques that are not recommended by EliteSteel.
  7. Failure to adhere to maintenance guidelines outlined by EliteSteel, leading to damage or deterioration.
  8. Lockset hardware is covered by the specific lockset manufacturer’s warranty.
  9. Fly Screens on doors or windows are not included in the warranty.
  10. Glass breakage or damage not directly attributed to a manufacturing defect.
  11. Consequential or indirect damages, including loss of time, inconvenience or associated costs beyond the scope of this warranty.
